Variety Plot – Glen Allen

This was a plot requested by one of our customers. They wanted to compared varieties across different brands, so we used it as an opportunity to highlight our Dekalb Corn varieties! This field followed winter wheat, gets a fair amount of manure and is conventional tillage. The plot was planted with an 8 row, 20″ John Deere planter.  5 gal G24 liquid starter was added on the seed. This field did not receive an application of fungicide and received 200 lb of dry Urea up front.
